Meet Kiera Neumiller

Built through every season

If there is one thing Kiera’s journey has taught her, it is that becoming the strongest version of yourself rarely happens exactly the way you planned.

Her story has included collegiate athletics, rebuilding her relationship with food and exercise, multiple injuries and surgeries, helping build IronFit from the ground up, and learning repeatedly that starting over does not mean you have failed.

Sometimes rebuilding is part of becoming stronger.

Built together

A life built around what matters

Kiera and Patrick built a life around their passion for fitness and helping others. Their own experiences — from training and rebuilding to opening IronFit together — inform how they support men and women working toward a more intentional life.

Together, they have helped hundreds of men and women take steps toward change. Now they’re developing a space for couples to train with shared purpose, too.

Chapter one

From athlete to intentional training

Kiera grew up around sports, especially basketball, and eventually earned the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. The experience gave her more than a chance to compete. It established the discipline, work ethic and mindset she carries today.

But after transitioning from competitive sports into fitness, her relationship with her body began to change. For a time, she believed that becoming smaller meant becoming more fit. Exercise became focused on burning calories, while food became governed by numbers, timing and restriction.

Eventually, that pursuit began affecting her health and quality of life. Kiera knew she no longer wanted food, exercise or the scale controlling her decisions.

Instead of continuing to make herself smaller, she decided to build herself stronger.

Chapter two

Learning to build

Kiera began weight training and learning how to fuel her body for what she was asking it to do. As she became stronger and healthier, she developed a fascination with bodybuilding and physique development.

She learned that training could have a purpose: exercise selection, program structure, progression, nutrition and recovery could work together toward a specific result.

She stopped training simply to burn calories and started training to build.

Through years of learning, experimenting and making mistakes, Kiera developed a deeper understanding of what it takes for women to build muscle, improve their physiques and become stronger without fighting against their bodies.

Chapter three

Rebuilding after setbacks

Kiera’s journey has not been linear.

Two knee surgeries changed how she was able to train. For nearly two years, she lived with persistent pain and uncertainty about whether she would ever train the way she once had.

Through faith in God, another surgery, extensive physical therapy, patience and a refusal to give up, she slowly rebuilt her leg strength.

That season taught her something she continues to carry:

“Starting over does not mean you have failed. Sometimes rebuilding is part of becoming stronger.”

Years later, a herniated disc again removed her from the training she loved. This time, her perspective was different. She focused on what she could control: patience, rehabilitation, adaptation and continuing to move forward.

She learned that progress is not always about pushing harder. Sometimes it requires the discipline to slow down, rebuild and trust the process.

Chapter four

Building IronFit

In 2021, Kiera left the place and family she had always known to move to Nashville with Patrick and pursue a completely different life.

Together, they began building IronFit from the ground up.

For six months, they worked seven days a week turning a shared vision into something real. That experience changed Kiera’s understanding of discipline.

Discipline does not always look like completing the perfect workout or following the perfect routine. Sometimes it means continuing to show up when there is no immediate reward, working when no one is watching and trusting the process before there is proof that it will succeed.

They opened their first IronFit gym in Mount Juliet in 2022. What began as a vision became a defining part of Kiera’s life and story.

Chapter five

Why RARE + ELITE For Her

Today, Kiera does not train to burn as many calories as possible or to make herself smaller.

She trains with intention.

She chooses movements with a purpose, trains specific muscle groups strategically and prioritizes progression, nutrition, recovery and consistency.

Kiera wants other women to experience that same shift.

Women should not have to enter the gym unsure of what exercises to perform, how many sets and repetitions they need, which muscles they should be training or whether their plan is moving them toward their goals.

Kiera wants women to walk into the gym with confidence instead of uncertainty, fuel their bodies instead of fighting against them and discover how strong they are capable of becoming—physically and mentally.

You do not need a perfect path to become the strongest version of yourself.

You need patience. You need consistency. You need the willingness to keep showing up. Above all, you need to be intentional about where you are going.

The things worth building take time—and that includes you.
